We are seeking a talented and experienced **Pastry Sous Chef** to join our culinary team at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island.
**Key Responsibilities:**

**Pastry Production:** Lead and oversee the production of a wide range of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our restaurants, and special events.

**Menu Development:** Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop innovative pastry menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and the unique flavors of Seychelles.

**Quality Control:** Ensure consistency and excellence in all pastry creations, maintaining Waldorf Astoria's renowned standards for taste, presentation, and craftsmanship.

**Team Leadership:** Inspire and mentor pastry team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Provide guidance on techniques, recipes, and best practices.

**Inventory Management:** Manage pastry inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize efficiency and profitability.
**Requirements:**
+ Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
+ Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts.
+ Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
+ Creativity and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering exceptional pastry experiences.
